“In talking with Kelly and her family, we knew early on that she had the potential to be a good Heptathlete in college. With that thought in mind, the staff based a majority of her High School training her Junior and Senior years with the goal to develop and prepare her the college Heptathlon.”
The fact she has experienced success in the event so early in her college career is of no surprise. Beyond Kelly’s natural athletic ability, she is a student of the sport and has the work ethic to become a very successful multi event athlete.
